Dr. Gunjan Nigam, MD completed Family Medicine residency in 2006 from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. As a Family Physician in Cary, she strives to provide a caring, relaxing atmosphere for each patient while working together towards optimal health and wellbeing. She is particularly interested in diabetes management, women’s health, heart-health, pediatrics, prevention of chronic adult diseases. She is fluent in English, Hindi and speaks some Medical Spanish. Outside of work, Dr. Nigam enjoys gardening, traveling and hiking in the North Carolina mountains with her husband and 2 kids.

Shelby L. Van Wagoner, FNP-C is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a master's degree from Western Governors University. She received her undergraduate in Nursing from the University of Utah. Shelby has 10 years of experience caring for patients 18 months old and up. She strives to provide a warm, welcoming, and relaxing environment. She is interested in disease management and prevention, women's health, pediatrics, and your everyday family medical needs. Shelby recently moved to North Carolina with her husband and two daughters. Outside of work, she loves to be outside, visiting the beach, taking walks, reading a good book, and doing puzzles.
